Artist Statement:

Since I was a child, I have struggled with figuring out exactly who it is that I am and my place in this world. My struggle consisted of learning how to communicate with people with the ability to hear, when my range of communication on was different than theirs, as well as learning how to be around people with different sexual preferences and gender identities who found it harder to relate to my own. A few years ago, I made the conscious decision to stop that suffering and begin taking steps towards a personal resolution. The many steps that I have been able to take thus far have truly helped me in finding a sense of self and the ability to stand strong in, as well as feel good about, my own identity as a person. I am now at a very good place in my life, truly happy.
